The full national board of the Society for Humanistic Judaism meets twice a year, graciously hosted by The Birmingham Temple Congregation for Humanistic Judaism. The guest speaker for Shabbat Services at 7pm on Friday, April 24, will be Sasha Sagan, author of “For Small Creatures Such As We” and daughter of noted science educators Ann Druyan and Carl Sagan.
